This full-time position carries end-to-end responsibility for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of a high-visibility, technically complex simulation project. The ideal candidate is a proven project management leader with a track record of delivering large, complex engineering or simulation projects on schedule and within budget, ideally with experience in the power or energy sector, and strong command of project financial oversight, risk management, and multi-stakeholder coordination.\nJob Duties\nProject Leadership & Strategic Execution\nServe as the single point of accountability for the assigned strategic simulation project, from contract award through final acceptance.\nTranslate program objectives and contractual commitments into an integrated execution plan aligned with CORYS and client expectations.\nProvide technical and organizational leadership, mentorship, and direction to the multidisciplinary engineering team assigned to the project.\nFoster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and close collaboration across engineering, production, and quality functions.\nPlanning, Scheduling & Resource Management\nDevelop and maintain the integrated master schedule, ensuring on-time delivery of all major milestones (design, FAT, SAT, and site acceptance).\nProactively identify and resolve schedule bottlenecks, resource conflicts, and cross-functional dependencies.\nTrack and report project and program-level KPIs related to schedule performance, quality, and engineering productivity.\nCoordinate staffing and resource allocation across engineering disciplines to meet project milestones without compromising quality.\nFinancial Oversight & Risk Management\nOwn the project P&L, monitoring budget, cost performance, and margin, and flagging potential overruns early.\nIdentify, assess, and mitigate project risks (technical, schedule, financial, and contractual), maintaining a live risk register.\nManage project change orders, scope variations, and contractual amendments with the client.\nImplement cost-control and efficiency measures to protect project profitability without compromising deliverable quality.\nClient & Stakeholder Engagement\nAct as the primary point of contact for the client on all project matters, building trust through transparent, proactive communication.\nLead project reviews, steering committee meetings, and status reporting for both internal leadership and the client.\nCoordinate with subcontractors, technology partners, and internal CORYS divisions to ensure aligned delivery.\nConduct on-site missions as needed for design reviews, progress meetings, and customer acceptance testing.\nQuality, Compliance & Process Improvement\nEnsure project execution complies with applicable industry standards, client specifications, and CORYS quality processes.\nImplement quality control checkpoints to reduce rework and ensure a high-fidelity, compliant simulator delivery.\nStandardize project documentation, reporting templates, and lessons-learned capture for future simulation programs.\nBusiness Development Support\nSupport follow-on proposal efforts and future phases of the program, contributing man-hour estimates and execution strategy.\nRepresent CORYS's project delivery capabilities in business development discussions with clients and other program stakeholders.\nQualifications and Skills\nBachelor's degree in Engineering preferred (equivalent technical/project management experience will be considered).\n10+ years of proven project management experience leading large, complex engineering, simulation, or industrial projects, with demonstrated ownership of schedule, budget, and delivery outcomes.\nExperience in the power or energy sector strongly preferred; prior exposure to large-scale simulation programs is a significant plus.\nPMP certification (or equivalent) preferred.\nDemonstrated success managing multi-million-dollar project budgets and P&L, including risk and change management on large-scale programs.\nStrong leadership skills with a track record of directing multidisciplinary technical teams.\nExcellent stakeholder management skills, with experience serving as primary client interface on strategic accounts.\nExceptional problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.\nStrong English communication skills (verbal and written);
