SUMMER 2026 Admissions Intern

Position Summary:The Admissions Summer Intern works alongside the Covenant College Admissions team to support campus visits, guest engagement, and office operations during the summer. Through this role, the intern will gain practical experience in hospitality, event support, admissions systems, and professional communication while helping create a positive and welcoming experience for prospective students and their families.Qualifications for Position:Committed to the motto and vision of Covenant College and sharing it with othersExcellent interpersonal communication skillsHigh emotional intelligenceDetail-orientedFriendly and outgoing demeanorBasic professionalism: reliability, adaptability, follow throughProficient written communicatorBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Windows operating systemExercise discretion with sensitive information concerning future studentsAble to walk for long periods of time regardless of the weather Expected Duties and Responsibilities:Dress and act in a professional manner.Be on time for all work shifts and communicate ahead of time with the supervisor if unable to work.Stay in regular contact with your supervisor and respond to emails and texts in a timely manner.Maintain a positive attitude and use language that cultivates a positive image of Covenant College.Manage projects that pertain to the Admissions work of engaging with guests.Engage with summer camp and conference leadership and attendees, practicing campus hospitality and promoting the Covenant experience. This will sometimes include weekend assignments.Practice hospitality in all contexts including tours, lunches, phone conversations, texts, front desk, and mixers.Be trained in tours, Slate management, visit planning, student and parent communication, phones, and inquiry engagement; also golf carts, Microsoft Office and the G-suite.Assist in office management including storage runs, rolling t-shirts, preparing mailings, restocking snacks and beverages and other duties as assigned.Promptly respond to all meeting requests from the Visit Team.Cheerfully complete any other requests from the Visit Team.
