Vice President of Product
This position can be performed remotely, though we value face-to-face connection and requiretravel to Chicago at least four times per year. Our vision is for ALIS to win a leading share of the AL/MC/ILmarket through excellent software and customer service that enhances the lives of staffmembers and the residents they serve.About the RoleWe're hiring a VP of Product to partner with our CEO and CTO to set product vision, lead ourproduct, design, and BI teams, and continue scaling and accelerating ALIS's reach in themarket. The right person is a builder. They've shipped delightful software that customers love, leddesign-driven product organizations, and mentored PMs into stronger operators. They takedirectional vision from founders and translate it into a sharp, executable product strategy thatthe team and company rally around. They embody our values of Integrity, Curiosity, andExcellence.What You'll OwnStrategy & Vision (~25%): Translate the founders' directional vision into a 12 to 24 monthproduct strategy and 3 year roadmap. Own competitive positioning, ALIS's AI product strategy,and platform and App Store strategy as a strategic lever for growth.Execution & Delivery (~30%): Own the full product development lifecycle with a focus onshipping fast and shipping delightful, high-quality solutions that customers adopt and love. Drivea strong delivery rhythm: clear roadmaps, reliable timelines, and fast iteration cycles thatcompound into outsized customer impact.Operational Partnership & Triage (~15%): Work cross-functionally with the COO, CTO, EVPof Sales, and CFO to prioritize, route, and facilitate product needs that support our day-to-dayoperations: bugs, customer escalations, enhancement requests, and operational issues raisedacross the business. You'll be the senior product voice in the room when these decisions aremade.Team & UX (~20%): Lead and mentor our product management team and elevate our UX anddesign function so ALIS continues to set the bar for user experience in our category. Overseeour Business Intelligence team and use data to drive product, customer, and companyoutcomes. Set the bar for product craft across the organization.Cross-Functional Partnership (~10%): Partner as a true peer with the CEO, COO, CTO, CFO,and EVP of Sales.
