Focus will be on supporting IT operations, systems capacity, high availability, and implementation of best practices while maintaining performance for critical applications. The position will work as part of a team, coordinating closely with the Information Security team and local IT team. Additionally, the Sr. Infrastructure Engineer will serve as a technical advisor for other projects and infrastructures.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nManage and monitor environment performance and proactively identify optimization opportunities to enhance efficiency, scalability, reliability, security and cost-effectiveness in alignment with the organization requirements and goals\nOwn and drive Infrastructure standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Disaster Recovery (DR) documentation, server/storage inventory, software/application license inventory, and server certificates.\nDesign and oversee the administration of the server/storage environment, Windows domain infrastructure, virtualization, DR Test/Preparedness, and server OS & application security patching.\nDesign and oversee the management of Active Directory, Group Policies, Cloud security, DNS and DHCP, Distributed File Shares, Exchange Online/Office365, SQL Servers, and SANs.\nMaintain knowledge of current security best practices and tools for a highly secure and available production environment.\nValidate overall infrastructure health, performance, availability, security, redundancy, and business continuity.\nDevelop solutions to automate and improve operational reliability and efficiency\nServe as a technical expert, driving change to adopt new standards, maintaining reliability and improving performance metrics\nProvides Tier 3 support for the Enterprise IT infrastructure\nParticipate in change management process including development of change management plan for production upgrades.\n\nQualifications\n\n8+ years of experience providing support, configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting for a medium to large enterprise IT environment\nMust have a strong understanding of Enterprise infrastructures, security best practices, and have excellent troubleshooting skills.\nProven experience with Microsoft Server Operating Systems, Microsoft Active Directory architecture, and Virtualization\nProven experience with Storage Area Networks and backup technologies\nStrong research, technical writing, and documentation skills\nExcellent interpersonal, communication skills\nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship now and in the future.\nIdeal Qualifications:\nExperience designing and architecting domain consolidation projects\nExperience supporting application/data teams with project and support activities\nExperience in cloud architecture, migrating from on-premises to the cloud\nExpert in Microsoft Windows Server environment including Azure, Active Directory Group policies, Active Directory Domain Services, Active Directory Federated Services, Server Certificates, DHCP, and DNS.\nExpert in Storage Area Networks, FCP, iSCSI, FCoE,\nMicrosoft MCSE or equivalent experience\n\nAdditional Information\n\nAs an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer, ITW does not discriminate in hiring or in the terms and conditions of employment because of an individual's race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, marital status, veteran status, arrest record, citizenship or other categories protected by federal, state or local laws.
