This role focuses on developing secure, scalable web services and APIs using .NET, C#, and Azure cloud technologies to support mission-critical applications.\r\nThe candidate will apply industry-standard software engineering practices to design, develop, integrate, and maintain service-oriented solutions that support both legacy and modernized system architectures.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nDesign, develop, and maintain web services and APIs using C# and the .NET framework (.NET Core / .NET 6+)\r\nDevelop and support SOAP-based and RESTful web services for system integration\r\nImplement secure service endpoints in compliance with DoD cybersecurity and RMF requirements\r\nDeploy and manage Azure cloud resources using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates\r\nSupport Azure-based services including App Services, Azure Functions, Storage Accounts, and API Management\r\nIntegrate web services with Oracle and/or SQL Server databases\r\nDevelop scalable backend business logic to support enterprise applications\r\nTroubleshoot, debug, and optimize service performance in production environments\r\nPrepare technical documentation, interface control documents (ICDs), and API specifications\r\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Reviews, and Retrospectives\r\nCollaborate with architects, cybersecurity teams, QA, and DevSecOps engineers to ensure compliance and maintainability\r\nContribute to CI/CD pipeline development and automated deployments in Azure environments\r\nApply secure coding practices and conduct peer code reviews\r\nRequired Experience & Abilities:\r\n5+ years of professional experience developing .NET applications and web services\r\nStrong proficiency in C#\r\nExperience developing and consuming SOAP web services\r\nExperience building RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Web API or .NET Core\r\nHands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services\r\nExperience creating and deploying infrastructure using ARM templates\r\nSolid understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and distributed systems\r\nExperience with SQL and database integration\r\nStrong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills\r\nAbility to work independently and within a collaborative Agile team\r\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\r\nDesired Experience & Abilities:\r\nExperience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines\r\nFamiliarity with DoD cybersecurity frameworks (RMF, STIG compliance)\r\nExperience in enterprise system integration within large operational environments\r\nExperience with ARM Templates and writing IaC\r\nKnowledge of authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth, Azure AD, SAML)\r\nExperience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)\r\nFamiliarity with DevSecOps practices\r\nExperience supporting Air Force or DoD IT systems\r\nJob Stipulations\r\nMust maintain DOD 8570 required certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ or equivalent)\r\nMust have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance\r\nMinimum Education\r\nHS diploma with 9 years' IT experience\r\nAssociates with 7 years' IT experience\r\nBachelors with 5 years' IT experience\r\nJob Stipulations\r\nMust maintain DOD 8570 required certification, CompTIA Security+ or equivalent\r\nMust be compliant with DOD vaccination policies\r\nPhysical Requirements\r\nProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer\r\nCompany Benefits\r\nCompetitive health care package, vision, and dental, life insurance coverage, 401k matching, training expense, competitive PTO, Holiday and sick leave.\r\nZigabyte is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
