Customer Service Representative Join our dynamic team as a Customer Service Representative, where you will act as a crucial liaison between our valued customers and the company. This role involves addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, processing orders, and providing information about our products and services. Responsibilities Answer incoming calls, greet customers warmly, and ascertain the reason for their call. Assist with the placement of orders, refunds, or exchanges and process them into the company's proprietary software system. Quote custom orders and respond to requests for quotations (RFQs). Resolve customer complaints via phone, email, and mail. Use telephones and email to reach out to customers and verify account information. Cancel or update customer accounts as needed. Provide information about the company and its offerings. Take payment information and other pertinent details such as addresses and phone numbers. Answer questions about warranties or terms of sale. Suggest solutions based on customer needs and address product malfunctions. Attempt to persuade customers to reconsider cancellations and offer alternative solutions. Inform customers of deals and promotions. Sell products and services. Scan invoices and process them into a paperless computer system. Utilize computer technology to handle high call volumes. Work with the customer service manager to ensure proper customer service is being delivered. Assist and support other office staff as necessary to handle overall workflow and cover for absent or vacationing employees. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred). 1+ years of customer service experience (Preferred). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using computer systems and software. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
