The ideal candidate is passionate about solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices. This role will focus primarily on backend development while working closely with management and technical leaders to transform monolith architectures into microservices and deploy applications in a hybrid cloud environment. You'll play a key role in delivering new and existing services within an Agile continuous delivery framework, working collaboratively and mentoring fellow developers.Responsibilities:Design and implement full-stack applications/services running on AWS and Azure.Collaborate with product managers and data scientists to design, implement, and test highly scalable, automated solutions.Participate in architecture and design discussions with technology team members.Engage in code and design reviews with peers to maintain high coding standards.Provide production support for your product as needed.Automate deployment processes and ensure adequate test coverage using testing frameworks.Qualifications:6-8+ years of software engineering experience.3-5+ years of experience developing cloud-native applications.Proven experience in designing and building microservices architectures.Expertise in Java development, including RESTful/GraphQL API design.Familiarity with third-party APIs, Web Services, and API Gateways.Experience working in a hybrid cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure).BS/BA in Computer Science or a related field.Experience in fast-paced, Agile environments.Ability to lead development efforts for products or large projects.Strong communication skills for mentoring and leading teams.Ability to create detailed project specifications and foresee potential roadblocks before starting development.Preferred Skills:Experience with Java 11, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Nodejs.Backend expertise with Spring Boot.Database experience with PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and writing SQL queries.Familiarity with streaming and caching technologies like Kafka, Redis, and RabbitMQ/ActiveMQ.Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Elastic and Grafana.Experience with version control systems (GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Harness).Benefits:100% remoteWorkspace setup bonus $400 USD grossBonuses in September and December, $300 USD gross eachWhy Join Us?
