A technician is expected to be an authority on most technical aspects of the elevator industry.\nJob Duties and Responsibilities:\nOnsite representation of the company in an expert and professional manner.\nDemonstrate expert knowledge in Electrical/Mechanical/Structural /Application/Estimation.\nDemonstrate the ability to supervise varied number of personnel.\nDemonstrate the desire to make decisions/supervise work in the best interest of company.\nDemonstrate the desire to work as a team member at any level required to complete job.\nAssist the company in maintaining proper appearance, conduct, productivity.\nAcquire and maintain tooling needed to perform previous listed technical requirements in a superlative manner.\nDemonstrate the desire to work in a safety and healthy manner.\nRequired Qualifications:\nMust have 4+ years’ experience in the elevator industry or equivalent\nPossess or be eligible to get a CET or NEIEP elevator mechanic's certificate. A minimum of 6 years of verifiable elevator industry experience may also be considered.\nPossess or be eligible to get a Transportation Worder Identification Card (TWIC card)\nMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds and sit or stand for long periods of time\nStrong communication skills, written and verbal\nComputer proficient\nExceptional customer service skills\nMust be able to pass Drug/alcohol screening and background check\nDesired Qualifications:\nPrior experience in\nProven ability to communicate written /verbal\nElevator knowledge\nSkills:\nGood Oral/Written Communication Skills\nKnowledge of tools/craft\nMust be dependable\nOrganizational Skills\nJob Demands:\nLifting 25+ lbs., reaching, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, climbing ladders / stairs, prolonged standing / sitting,\nMust have excellent hand eye coordination\nMust be able to work from heights\nWorking long periods of time (overtime required)\nOut of town travel required\nAdditional Job Requirements:\nDecision making abilities\nPossess excellent customer service skills to support customers and vendors\nMust be able to drive company vehicle\nWork under tight deadlines\nDemonstrate leadership abilities\nAbility to prioritize and execute multiple duties\nNoise or vibration\nWork around Safety hazards\nExposed to Extreme heat / cold.
