Retail General Manager
Maintain and elevate all aspects of the in-store shopping experience through the management of staff, systems and processes, and implementation of sales strategies. In coordination with the retail buyer, ensuring that TS is maximizing its sales potential
RGM must be great with people from a customer service perspective, but also ensuring you are maximizing the potential of TS employees under your guidance. Must also work with all other employees to not only build a stronger team but ensure that each facet of the business is working together towards the same goal of excellent customer service.
Job Duties
Staff Management
Hire, manage, train, grow, and motivate the sales associates and heat pressers under your leadership
create and maintain a comprehensive system for the hiring and training of sales associates and pressers. Ability to create and maintain a standard of excellence with yourself and the employees.
Partner with General Manager on seasonal employee staffing and hiring process.
Create and maintian monthly schedules for employees that meet business needs. This includes managing employee time off.
Know and understand the level of staffing needed throughout the year
Ability and willingness to perform any job responsibility in which you are responsible for
Create, maintain and execute daily, weekly, and monthly tasks
Manage meal and rest breaks for sales associates, and pressers
Responsible for store cleanliness, this includes but is not limited to first impression spaces, sales floor, and employee areas in the back.
Store Management
Create a store that is welcoming to customers. Maintaining inventory, cleanliness, and meets TS brand standards
Spend most of your time on the salesfloor. Time best spent is ensuring the quality of customer service, execution of daily, weekly tasks, and the oversight of everything that happens in the store.
Create a store that maximizes sellable space, remerchandising as needed.
Ensure all customer orders requiring embroidery, name plates, and logos are done to the customers specifications in a timely manner and contacted in a timely manner
Manage overall inventory of club logos, including ordering, and pickup of logos.
Open and close registers and do the cash drop as needed.
Product Knowledge and Management
Understand and articulate knowledge of products in store to support customer needs
Take information received up front to the retail buyer to maximize sales
Coordinate with warehouse manager to ensure we are never out of products communicating lows and outs proactively
Customer Management
Greet, Listen, Understand and get to know TS customers
Handle all instore complaints in a calm, understanding demeanor aiming to meet and hear customer concerns
