Make a real impact as you help shape the future of software security at one of the world's largest and most influential companies.\r\nAs a Lead Security Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Cybersecurity and Tech Controls team, you are an integral part of a team that works to deliver software solutions that satisfy pre-defined functional and user requirements with the added dimension of preventing misuse, circumvention, and malicious behavior.\r\nJob responsibilities\r\nExecutes creative security solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions and break down technical problems\r\nDevelops secure and high-quality production code and reviews and debugs code written by others\r\nMinimizes security vulnerabilities by following industry insights and governmental regulations to continuously evolve security protocols, including creating processes to determine the effectiveness of current controls\r\nWorks with stakeholders and business leaders to understand security needs and recommend business modifications during periods of vulnerability\r\nConducts discovery, vulnerability, penetration testing, and threat scenarios on multiple organizational assets to identify and assess if vulnerabilities are present, and executes threat modeling for multiple applications including external applications interacting with the internal JPMorgan Chase network\r\nAdds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect\r\nRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills\r\nFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience developing security engineering solutions.\r\nSkilled in planning, designing, and implementing enterprise level security solutions\r\nAdvanced in one or more programming languages\r\nProficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle\r\nAdvanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security\r\nExperience with threat modeling, discovery, vulnerability, and penetration testing\r\nIn-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems\r\nExperience creating and handling CI/CD pipelines, application resiliency, and security.\r\nExperience with AWS services, including server-less solutions, ECS, EC2, Lambdas, API Gateway, Step Functions and storage services.\r\nBasic understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security principles. Familiarity with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.\r\nGood communication skills, teamwork capabilities, and a self-learning attitude.\r\nPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills\r\nExperience effectively communicating with senior business leaders\r\nAWS Certifications (ie. Practitioner, Solutions Architect, Security, Networking, Developer…)\r\nNetwork Certifications (ie.
