Tax Manager

This role is within a tax leadership team responsible for delivering high-quality tax services to a national client list.
The Role We are seeking strong Tax Managers to join our growing team and client roster. You will leverage your tax expertise and client-relations skills to manage a national client list, deliver superior service, tackle complex tax issues, craft strategic solutions, and provide risk management guidance. You will collaborate across ODC and contribute to a culture of mentorship, continuous improvement, and professional development.
Key Responsibilities Manage client portfolio, consistently delivering high-quality service.
Ensure accuracy and compliance in the preparation, review, and timely filing of all tax forms.
Provide tax provision preparation, review, and support on complex engagements.
Enhance efficiency across project initiatives.
Mentor and guide team members to support professional development.
Stay up-to-date with tax regulations, conduct diligent research, and provide consultation on intricate tax matters.
Contribute to business development and departmental efficiency enhancements.
Qualifications CPA or EA
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
7+ years of public accounting experience
Experience directly managing and interacting with clients through multiple channels
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Attention to detail
Proficiency with tax preparation and accounting software
Preferred Qualifications Advanced knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks, CCH Axcess, Engagement, Thomson Reuters, UltraTax)
Substantial knowledge of 1040, 1041, Partnerships, S-Corps, and 1099
Experience with individual clients, high net worth individuals, trusts & estates, state tax, and pensions

The annual base salary range for this role is $100,000-$130,000. This range includes the anticipated low and high end of the salary range. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, and skill level.
