You will be providing therapeutic and holistic care for our patients in our inpatient division. This role is Monday-Friday day shift schedule with a weekend rotation. Come be a part of a growing organization in a progressive, supportive, and innovative team!What will you be doing in this role?Working towards the achievement of patient care time targets and productivity standardsProviding medically prescribed physical therapy treatment for patients suffering from injuries, muscle, nerve, joint, and/or bone diseasesOperating according to underlying goals of the inpatient acute environment, optimizing the length of stay while preparing the patient for transition to a longer-term setting in an efficient and safe mannerCollaborating with other therapists/physicians within care pathways as necessaryRestoring patient function while relieving pain with ambitions of avoiding disabilityIntegrating Rehab Techs to support the patients plan of careCompleting appropriate documentation according to Company/department policies and procedures along with adhering to federal and state regulationsOur ideal candidate would:Have an Associate's Degree as a Physical Therapist AssistantHave the required state licensure, certification, and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensureProvide a CPR/AED/BLS (basic life support) certification or have the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)Have the ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout the entire assigned shiftHave a high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communicationHave strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelHave the ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervisionBe able to maintain confidentialityEligibility to Work:This position requires candidates to be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring current or future sponsorship for an employment visa (e.g., H-1B, OPT, etc.).About ProgressiveHealth & Union Hospital Therapy, LLC:ProgressiveHealth is the premier provider of a broad spectrum of occupational and non-occupational health services including on-site medical, injury prevention, health improvement, rehabilitation management solutions, and more!
