Nurse Practitioner Highlights The pay for this position is competitive and based on experience Clinic hours , including every other weekend Patient-facing position Onsite as needed This position is an individual start Works within a collaborative clinical care team model This position is safety sensitive Responsibilities Provide primary and family evidence-based care to patients in an outpatient clinic setting Perform accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning Handle patient appointments and perform routine examinations to support positive health outcomes Complete diagnostic testing to help diagnose and treat injuries and illnesses Support patients with health screenings, behavioral health and wellness, and chronic condition management Encourage patients to become active participants in their healthcare and overall well-being Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care Perform administrative duties including: opening and closing the clinic inventory management patient follow-up verifying insurance collecting payment maintaining a clean environment Work collaboratively with a dedicated clinical care team and report to the practice manager Requirements Minimum of 1 year of recent primary care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in one of the following settings: family medicine primary care practice urgent care Completion of a Master's-level Family Nurse Practitioner program Current National Board Certification Current state license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role Active NP/PA license in good standing in the applicable state Current BLS from ARC or AHA required Willingness to apply for DEA registration during onboarding , unless otherwise noted Strong understanding of quality measures in the management of chronic disease conditions Ability to work independently, practice autonomously, and function effectively within a clinical care team Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask Strong initiative, adaptability, flexibility, and problem-solving ability Proficiency with information management and technology Willingness to obtain multi-state licensures Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required Benefits Available Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
