Additional duties may be assigned on an as required basis.\r\nSimple and complex assembly of parts according to the work order, prints, and knowledge of the unit being assembled.\r\nFastens parts together with bolts, screws, clips, rivets, or other fasteners.\r\nOperates hand drills, tools, and rivet machines to assist in assembly operations.\r\nRecords all labor and downtime, documenting all information pertaining to each work order and routing.\r\nMaintain all company safety regulations to provide a clean, accident free, and healthy work environment.\r\nAssures that the proper fit, function, and appearance are at, or exceed quality standards.\r\nConfers with Manager, Team and Crew Leaders on any problems regarding safety, quality, production or inventory.\r\nRequirement: available to travel to installation locations throughout the US at any time necessary to meet customer demands.Requires significant travel with up to 80%Must complete certification criteria for TSI, Rogers Athletic and StageRight installation.\r\nWilling and able to work on production floor when not traveling\r\nAdditional duties may be assigned on an as required basis.\r\nQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :\r\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\r\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:\r\nHigh School diploma or equivalent.\r\nMust possess basic math skills and ability to accurately read a tape measure.\r\nAbility to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, decimal equivalents, and proportions to practical situations.\r\nCarpentry or building experience is a plus.\r\nPrefer three (3) years of assembly/installation experience on Rogers Group product line.\r\nLANGUAGE SKILLS:\r\nAbility to read, analyze and interpret the English language.\r\nAssociates must have the ability to communicate internally and externally effectively and efficiently.\r\nREASONING ABILITY:\r\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints.\r\nPractical problem solving, think analytically and work under pressure\r\nAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or work order form.\r\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\r\nFrequent manual and finger dexterity required by the daily use of hand tools.\r\nMust be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.\r\nAbility to bend, stretch, twist, reach, crouch, or kneel.\r\nCapable of lifting 50 pounds regularly.\r\nAdditional Job Information:\r\nThe environment is active and fast-paced.\r\nManufacturing Pre-Employment Training Certificate is preferred.\r\nMust have active driver's license.All qualified applicants will be afforded equal employment opportunities without discrimination.\r\nRogers Group is a drug-free workplace.
