Become a maker of possible with us.\r\nJob Responsibilities\r\nGuide the architecture, design, and implementation of complex cloud-native software solutions using AWS services.\r\nDevelop high-quality, maintainable, and well-documented code in languages such as TypeScript, Rust, C++.\r\nDrive best practices in software development, including code reviews, automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD).\r\nCollaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and other engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.\r\nChampion security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GxP, GDPR) within cloud environments.\r\nMentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the team.\r\nProactively identify and resolve technical challenges, performance bottlenecks, and scalability issues within distributed systems.\r\nEvaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and tools to improve efficiency, performance, and cost-effectiveness.\r\nRequired Skills/Experience\r\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field.\r\n8+ years of professional experience in software development, with at least 4 years focused on cloud-native application development and architecture.\r\nCloud Expertise: AWS (compute, storage, networking, databases), Azure or GCP.\r\nHands on Experience with AWS Services\r\nALB/NLB (Application/Network Load Balancers)\r\nTLS (Transport Layer Security)\r\nNATS/KEDA (Message brokers for event-driven systems)\r\nAuto-scaling\r\nDirect Connect (DX)\r\nFinOps (Cost optimization with metrics visibility)\r\nCloud Security\r\nVersioned Object Storage & Lifecycle Policies\r\nCaching Layers\r\nFSx for Lustre (High-performance file system)\r\nStrong programming skills in TypeScript/node and C++.\r\nExtensive experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures.\r\nProven track record of designing and implementing scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure distributed systems.\r\nDeep understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems.\r\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.\r\nBest Practices - CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.\r\nSoft Skills: Communication, problem-solving, mentoring.\r\nAt BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry.
