Compensation starts at $21.50 an hour including the shift differential and the opportunity for overtime. Our Machine Operators work with our Formulators, Manufacturing Supervisors, and Packaging Techs to maximize production output.\nTHE SCHEDULE - Second Shift:\nMonday 12:30am - 6:00am\nTuesday - Thursday 6:00pm – 6:00am\nEnjoy 3.5 days' work week and 3.5 days' weekends!\nRESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:\nAbility to set up, run a line from start to finish, and shut down machines according to standard operating procedures (SOP) for each product run and daily production schedules\nConsistently produce high quality products in a safe and efficient manner that meet product specifications and labor standards\nDemonstrate good documentation processes (GDP) to maintain accurate quality checks and other required paperwork\nMaintains the general cleanliness and organization of work areas using 6S lean processes\nOperate material handling equipment including but not limited to forklifts, pallet jacks, and barrel handlers\nIdentify areas to improve safety, efficiency, and ergonomics\nAssist with maintaining organization of warehouse including inventory control using RF guns and counts\nCompliance with all safety and environmental health requirements and strictly adhere to PPE required to handle all materials.\nLabel and palletize manufactured products according to standardized pallet patterns.\nAssist in setting up production lines and moving production equipment as necessary from line to line\nOther Duties as assigned.\nREQUIREMENTS, EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:\nStamina to work 12 hour shifts 3.5 days per week and overtime as needed on Thursdays and/or Fridays\nReport to work daily and on-time for scheduled workdays and shift times\nAbility to work with minimal supervision\nCommitted to working and communicating in a team environment\nMust communicate effectively with others by speaking, reading, and understanding written English and the ability to write legibly in English.\nHigh school diploma, GED equivalent or applicable experience in a manufacturing environment.\nPreference will be given to candidates who possess experience working with packaging machinery, in a food or feed manufacturing facility for a minimum of six months.\nWHY APPLY?\nCompetitive compensation starting at $21.50 an hour including the shift differential.\nFull benefit package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), short and long-term disability, paid time off and more!\nOpportunity for Overtime.\nWHO IS NEOGEN:\nFrom farm to fork, we offer solutions to enhance the quality, quantity and safety of the global food supply.
