Ideal for undergraduate juniors, non-graduating seniors, or graduate students. The intern will learn how to query, model, and analyze financial data regarding the financial strength and credit worthiness of clients or other business analytics questions.\n\nA typical day:\n\nCollect, model, and analyze data to support business decision-making.\nPartner with others to use internal Compeer data to answer business questions using data, analytics, and statistical modeling.\nContribute to key team projects, either collaboratively or independently.\nAssist in initiatives focused on cost containment and operational efficiency.\nUtilize tools such as SQL, Python, R, and Microsoft Excel.\nUtilize AI tools to research, build and improve work products.\nDevelop professional relationships and explore potential full-time career opportunities.\n\nThe skills and experience we prefer you have:\n\nMust be working towards completing a bachelor's or master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics or a related field.\nCoursework or experience in data analytics, modeling, or financial analysis strongly preferred.\nProficiency in using PowerBI, Python, R, Microsoft Excel, AI tools, or other data analytics tools.\nProven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and deliver excellent client service.\n\nHow we will take care of you:\n\nActual hourly rate offered is dependent upon year in school, work experience, transferable skills, business needs and market demands.
