{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"8aa0ee7a2da70a3bc610980d","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/8aa0ee7a2da70a3bc610980d","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/8aa0ee7a2da70a3bc610980d","title":"SECOND Shift Floor Inspector","description":"Therm, Incorporated, a leader in providing innovative machining solutions to a global market, is currently seeking a qualified individual for a position in our Quality Assurance Department for Floor Inspector.\n\n*-Second Shift (3:30pm - 12:00am)*\n\n-Overtime assigned as needed or as business necessitates.\n\n-Full Time\n\n-Starting wage dependent upon experience.\n\nPOSITION SUMMARY:\n\nResponsible for the in-process auditing/inspection of parts during processing on the manufacturing floor using a variety of inspection tools to assure conformance with prescribed specifications in blueprints, operation sheets, process sheets, layouts, work orders, charts and/or written and verbal instructions.\n\nPOSITION DUTIES, REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\n\\*Experience in a machine shop environment is a plus, but not required. Training will be provided. \\*Reject parts not meeting specifications. Must initiate, investigate and write deviation reports as needed for non-conforming parts or processes.\n\n\\*Work directly with Manufacturing and Engineering personnel to discuss, review and resolve operation and process sheet discrepancies.\n\n\\*Documentation and reporting of final inspection findings and/or results.\n\n\\*Become familiar with \"Special Processes\", i.e. Weld, Heat Treat, Shot Peen, Polish etc.\n\n\\*Assist in gauge R & R studies.\n\n\\*Ability to setup and use comparator charts for part and setup verification.\n\n\\*Ability to learn and be able to understand and use a variety measuring and testing tools.\n\n\\*At all times, work to Therm, Incorporated Code of Ethics, Safety Standards and Quality Policies while performing operational functions.\n\n\\*Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.\n\n\\*Being a team player is essential.\n\n\\*Good communication skills a must.\n\n\\*Must pass a physical examination including drug testing.\n\n\\*Must pass eye examination and have vision adjusted to 20/20.\n\n\\*Background checks also performed.\n\nBENEFITS AVAILABLE TO ALL FULL TIME EMPLOYEES:\n\n\\*Major Medical Health Ins with Rx Plan\n\n\\*Ltd.
