Cloud Network Security Director
Cloud Network Security DirectorADP is hiring a Cloud Network Security Director in Roseland, NJ. This is a hybrid role.
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Network Security to lead and oversee the network CVM program our multi-cloud platforms, on-premise environments, and containerized infrastructures.
This role requires deep expertise in cloud networking, SD-WAN, software-defined networking (SDN), and container networking, with a focus on securing complex, hybrid, and dynamic infrastructure environments.
The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with IT, DevOps, Cloud, and Security teams to ensure resilient, scalable, and secure network operations.
Responsibilities:
Drive adoption of modern security architectures including micro-segmentation in container and cloud environments.
Oversee the secure configuration and operation of cloud-native networking components, such as security groups, network ACLs, VPCs, and cloud firewalls.
Assist in design and enforcement of network security policies within containerized environments, including Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker-based platforms.
Secure container networking overlays, ingress/egress controllers, and service meshes (e.g., Istio)
Guide implementation of software-defined networking (SDN) technologies and automated network policy frameworks.
Strong understanding of remote access technologies and methods.
Manage and develop a high-performing team of network security analysts.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, automation, and collaboration across teams.
To Succeed in This Role:
You'll have a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong understanding of micro-segmentation, NAC models.
Strong knowledge of cloud networking, including AWS/Azure/GCP security groups, NACLs, VPCs, and routing.
Hands-on experience securing containerized workloads (Kubernetes, Docker) and associated networking layers.
Proven experience with SD-WAN, SDN, and network virtualization technologies.
Expertise in traditional network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.) as well as modern infrastructure-as-code tools.
