The individual will lead a cross-functional organization aligned to common program performance goals.\n\nProgram Managers are responsible for managing all phases of the program life cycle from inception (proposal development) through startup, execution, and completion (contract closeout). Primary responsibilities are the management of cost, schedule, and technical performance of company programs or subsystems and include, but are not limited to:\n\nLeading and directing cross-functional Integrated Program Teams (IPT) to meet program cost, schedule and technical performance objectives\nMeasuring and reporting program performance\nDelivering presentations to customers, executive management and other program stakeholders\nParticipating in the negotiation of contracts, contract changes, specifications, operating budgets, milestones schedule, and key terms and conditions\nEstablishing design concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test\nIdentifying, allocating and managing program resources, including workforce planning\nManaging Government/customer supplied property or information (GFE, CFE, etc.)\nManaging suppliers to meet program objectives\nEnsuring program team understands and adheres to contract scope, and manages change through control board activities\nDevelopment and adherence to master plans and schedules\nConducting thorough risk & opportunity management practices including identification, mitigation and realization\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree and 6 years, or master’s degree and 4 years of experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers and/or project management in other industries\nProven experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team or cost account manager\nDemonstrated success leading teams/and or organizations to achieve a common goal.\nStrong organizational and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions.\nStrong skills in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint\nWilling and able to travel up to 15% of the time\nAbility to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance\nUS citizenship is required\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience interfacing with DoW/USN customers\nMaritime industry leadership experience\nExperience conducting or managing operations at sea\nSignificant customer and senior (VP level) management engagement experience\n\nBenefits:\nCompetitive salary and performance-based bonuses.\nComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.\n401(k) plan with company match.\nPaid time off and holidays.\nProfessional development opportunities.\nWhat we Offer:\n\nCompetitive salary, comprehensive total rewards package (medical, dental, vision, 401K with employer match), and other great benefits.
