This role ensures the accurate setup, maintenance, and optimization of tooling systems to support efficient production. The CNC Tooling Lead will collaborate with machinists, engineers, and supervisors to maintain quality standards, troubleshoot tooling issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Pay Rate: $19.50/hour\nA Day In The Life\nEvery day at Hubbell is different and you’ll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you’ll make a difference by:\nLeading the setup and adjustment of CNC tooling for various machining operations.\nInspecting and maintaining tooling to ensure precision and reliability.\nCollaborating with CNC operators to resolve tooling-related issues and optimize performance.\nReading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.\nMonitoring tooling inventory and coordinating procurement of replacement parts.\nTraining team members on proper tooling practices and safety protocols.\nDriving process improvements to reduce downtime and enhance efficiency.\nWhat will help you thrive in this role?\nMinimum of 5 years’ experience in CNC machining with a focus on tooling.\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.\nStrong understanding of CNC tooling systems, cutting tools, and machining processes.\nAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation.\nProficiency in precision measurement tools and equipment.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.\nStrong communication and leadership abilities.\nComputer literacy, including familiarity with CNC programming and tooling databases.\nHubbell Incorporated\n\nHubbell creates critical infrastructure solutions that power our customers, communities, people and the planet.
