The organization focuses on building long-term relationships with clients, supporting employees’ growth, and positively impacting the communities where it operates.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Construction Estimator role based in El Paso, TX. The Construction Estimator will prepare detailed cost estimates for pipeline, maintenance, and fabrication projects in the oil and gas sector, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs. Daily responsibilities include reviewing plans and specifications, performing quantity take-offs, requesting and analyzing vendor and subcontractor quotes, and developing competitive bid proposals. The role will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, procurement, and field teams to validate scopes, identify risks, and support budget planning. The Construction Estimator will also update cost databases, track historical pricing, and contribute to continuous improvement of estimating tools and processes.Qualifications Strong construction estimating skills, including experience preparing detailed estimates for industrial, oil and gas, or pipeline projects.Proficiency in quantity take-offs, with the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents accurately.Solid cost management and budgeting skills, including analyzing labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and clients, and for presenting estimates and clarifications clearly.Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Excel or similar tools; ability to maintain organized, accurate estimate documentation.Understanding of construction means and methods, schedules, and field operations; prior experience in oil and gas or pipeline construction is preferred.Ability to work on-site in El Paso, TX, manage multiple bids and deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.Associate or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Commitment to safety, ethical conduct, and inclusive teamwork in a fast-paced project environment.
