The combined talent and experience of Terraphase's engineers, geologists, and scientists form the foundation for a comprehensive environmental management approach.\n\nTerraphase is seeking a Project Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Scientist to join our team in our Oakland office.\n\nThe Role\n\nConduct environmental site assessments, investigations, and field work.\n\nWork on environmental compliance projects including in areas of stormwater, air quality, wastewater, and hazardous waste management.\n\nDevelop and implement remediation plans and strategies.\n\nPrepare permit applications and compliance reports.\n\nCollaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to solve complex environmental challenges.\n\nManage project timelines, budgets, and client relationships.\n\nEnsure projects adhere to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.\n\nContribute to project related documents and deliverables such as RI/FS, Phase II ESA, work plans, groundwater monitoring reports, Stormwater management plans, SWPPPs, NPDES compliance documents, etc. Final review will be provided by Technical Lead on the project.\n\nCollaborate with CAD, GIS, and database staff on project needs.\n\nMentoring and supervising junior technical staff.\n\nWho You Are\n\nB.S. required, M.S. preferred in Environmental Engineering, Geology/Hydrogeology, or related field.\n\nEngineer-in-Training (EIT), Geologist-in-Training (GIT), Professional Engineer (PE), or Professional Geologist (PG) license in the state of California preferred.\n\n5+ years of experience in environmental consulting or engineering.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience in technical writing and client correspondence.\n\nExperienced with preparation of remedial investigation reports, remedial design reports, cost estimating, environmental compliance, and supervision of field implementation of remediation activities, including Vapor Intrusion Mitigation Systems construction quality assurance.\n\nExperienced in analysis, evaluation, presentation, and interpretation of geologic, hydrologic, hydrogeologic, and chemical data obtained during field investigations.\n\nConfident in working at environmentally impacted field sites and committed to being a proactive participant in health & safety culture.\n\nAble to demonstrate excellent communication, teamwork, analytical, organizational, technical writing, and client service skills.\n\nCompensation\nCompensation for this position is based on years of experience, technical expertise, technical education, and geographic location.\n\nPay Range: $90,000 - $105,000 USD\n\nBenefits\nTerraphase offers an extensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, employer paid life insurance, long-term disability, a generous 401(k) match, commuter benefits, TerraLunches, TerraTalks, tuition/licensing/professional development reimbursement, flexible work schedule, ongoing company-sponsored events.\n\nEOE Statement\nTerraphase is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to an inclusive & diverse work environment where individual strengths and diverse viewpoints are respected and complement each other to achieve common goals.
