The SkillBridge intern will be paired with a Business Unit that corelates with their work experience, career interest, or educational background.\nMinimum Requirements\nMust be an active Service Member of the Armed Forces that is within six (6) months of separation.\nMust have applied to the SkillBridge program through the Department of Defense with an approval from both the Department of Defense and the Service Member's Chain of Command.\nThis position does not include compensation or benefits paid by APS.\nThe Service member will continue to receive benefits from the Department of Defense.\nMajor Accountabilities\n1) Performs simple to intermediate analysis and designs. May assist in preparing business plans, designs, specifications, cost estimates, evaluations, and studies.\n\n2) Assists in research, business documentation, studies or technical reviews. Conducts analyses, investigations, verifications and summarizes results or findings in written reports or oral presentations.\n\n3) Utilizes internal resources to learn business/operations/functions and apply learning in completion of work assignments.\n\n4) Coordinates efforts with other disciplines, and/or departments in achieving project goals and task assignments.\n\n5) Performs other related duties as required.\nExport Compliance / EEO Statement\nThis position may require access to and/or use of information subject to control under the Department of Energy's Part 810 Regulations (10 CFR Part 810), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) (15 CFR Parts 730 through 774), or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) (22 CFR Chapter I, Subchapter M Part 120) (collectively, 'U.S. Export Control Laws'). A full seven (7) year criminal history will be obtained through the pre-employment background check process (or, for current employees, through supplemental background check process) to fulfill the CIP access requirements. In addition, this position requires an additional background check every seven years to maintain access.\nOnsite: Requires work to be performed in the field and/or at an APS facility.
