This role is often the first point of contact for our patients and plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, supportive, and positive patient experience.Responsibilities include:Patient registration and insurance verificationAppointment scheduling, check-in, and check-outManaging incoming calls and electronic communicationsPatient account support and administrative dutiesScanning documents, running reports, and maintaining accurate recordsProviding clear explanations of services, programs, and eligibility requirementsWe are looking for someone who is organized, patient-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and empathy.Experience & QualificationsOne year of experience in a medical or dental office is preferred, but not requiredStrong customer service experience is highly valuedHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredExcellent communication and phone skillsStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple time-sensitive tasksComputer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is preferredExperience with electronic medical records preferred; NextGen experience is a plusWe understand that many great healthcare professionals start without prior medical office experience.
