Administrative - Administrative Representative This position is for a Patient Service Representative working day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The role serves as the primary point of contact for patients both in person and over the phone, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience when accessing healthcare services. Responsibilities include assisting patients with check-in and check-out processes, verifying demographic and insurance information, scheduling appointments, and addressing patient inquiries or concerns. The representative works closely with clinical staff and administrative teams to support efficient patient flow within the outpatient clinic setting. The position may require supporting operations at an additional nearby clinic location as needed. Strong customer service skills, professionalism, and attention to detail are essential for maintaining a positive patient experience and ensuring administrative accuracy. Requirements: Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of recent experience working in an outpatient clinic or medical office environment. Applicants should have knowledge of medical insurance, referral procedures, and benefit plan processes. The ability to read, understand, and respond to detailed written and verbal instructions is required. Candidates must also be able to communicate effectively with patients, providers, and healthcare staff while maintaining a professional and compassionate demeanor. Experience with electronic medical record systems such as Epic or CS-Link is preferred, along with familiarity with medical terminology. Flu vaccination compliance is required for this role. Strong computer skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail are important for managing patient records, appointments, and administrative workflows efficiently.
