If you're looking for an internship that gives you hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-impact technology environment—especially one at the forefront of cybersecurity—you're in the right place. This is an opportunity to grow your skills, build your resume, and make a real impact.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nImprove consistency and quality across backend services.\r\nEnhance RESTful APIs and maintain API documentation.\r\nCollaborate with engineers and PMs to apply best practices.\r\nIntegrate tools, expand tests, and update documentation.\r\nWrite clean, testable, and maintainable Java code.\r\nJoin code reviews, stand-ups, and sprint ceremonies.\r\nAbout You\r\nYou are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.\r\nYou have a strong foundation in Java — Java is a must for this role.\r\nYou've explored (or are eager to learn) frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, and JPA.\r\nYou've worked with (or studied) RESTful APIs and understand how systems communicate.\r\nYou're comfortable using SQL or NoSQL databases to store and query data.\r\nYou've used Git and are familiar with tools like IntelliJ IDEA, GitHub, and (optionally) Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS.\r\nYou're a strong communicator, quick learner, and enjoy working on a team.\r\nYou're organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.\r\nYou're curious, motivated, and excited to grow as a backend engineer.\r\nWhat You'll Gain\r\nMentorship from experienced backend engineers.\r\nPractical experience working in a modern backend stack.\r\nInsight into scalable system architecture, microservices, and deployment.\r\nOpportunities to learn agile practices and development workflows.\r\nA chance to contribute meaningfully to a mission-driven fintech platform.\r\nWhat's Next:\r\nRecruiter Phone Screen\r\nHiring Manager Interview\r\nTechnical Interview\r\nFinal Interview\r\nCompensation\r\nHourly Rate: $35/hour\r\nThis compensation is competitive and reflects the market standards for similar roles in Mountain View, CA.
