In this full-time role, you will be responsible for scheduling drivers, dispatching shipments, and ensuring timely and efficient operations. As a member of our operations team, you will monitor and optimize routes for Better Trucks Last Mile, utilizing your detail-oriented and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.\nResponsibilities:\nMorning load out, include sorting packages and building daily driver routes.\nScanning, labeling, and sorting packages.\nMonitoring and optimizing delivery routes.\nEnsuring Geofence accuracy\nPromptly resolving package issues.\nTracking packages and their statuses (e.g., failed deliveries, age verification, missing packages).\nScheduling Independent Contractor Drivers.\nEnsuring proper driver coverage.\nMonitor a live chat messaging system\nAuditing Proof of Delivery (POD) photos.\nQualifications:\nMinimum age of 21.\nValid Driver's License.\nAbility to pass a background check and drug test.\nAbility to multitask and thrive in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.\nFamiliarity with technology for tracking drivers and package status, including GPS and camera capturing software.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Sheets, and mass texting platforms.\nSelf-starting, proactive, and initiative-taking.\nStrong critical thinking and interpersonal communication skills.\nExcellent memorization skills.\nAdaptability to change and flexibility to work varied shifts.\nStrong accountability and empathy skills.\nCommitment to treating all co-workers, delivery partners, and customers with respect.\nAbility to lift 50-70 lbs.\nReliable and punctual.\nPreferred Qualifications: (Bilingual in English and/or Spanish).\nShift (Full-Time):\nShifts: Shift hours may vary between 6:00am - 4:30pm, depending on staffing needs or whenever daily workload is complete.\nIt is possible that you may have to work longer shifts during peak season.\nOperational Days:\nCandidates must be adaptable and flexible to work any 7 days out of a week, even though we deliver Tuesday - Saturday.\nDuring peak season or if there are extreme spikes in volume, you may be asked to work on a Sunday.\nJob Type: Full-time\nPay: $22.00 an hour\nBenefits:\nDental insurance\nHealth insurance\nVision Insurance\nLife Insurance\nPaid Time Off (PTO)\nShifts:\n8 hour shift\n10 hour shift\n12 hour shift\nMorning shift\nDay shift\nEvening shift\nWork Location: In person\n--\nBetter Trucks strives to provide all employees with equal opportunities.
