We provide on-the-job training!\r\nThis position offers schedule flexability based on your lifestyle ranging from 1st-3rd shift, onsite training, forklift certification opportunities, competitive pay and benefits, and the chance to be part of the largest cooperative in the U.S. Our feed mill plays a key role in delivering essential nutrition that supports livestock health and performance.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nLearn to operate feed mill equipment (grinders, mixers, and batching systems) to support livestock feed production\r\nAssist with receiving and handling feed ingredients, including helping load and unload trucks\r\nSupport the loadout process by opening hatches, connecting hoses, taking samples, and checking product accuracy\r\nHelp monitor batching and scaling systems to ensure quality and consistency in finished feed\r\nPerform basic equipment checks, cleaning, and routine maintenance; report any issues to the team\r\nMaintain a clean and safe work environment through daily housekeeping and spill cleanup\r\nFollow safety and quality guidelines while working with the team to meet daily production goals\r\nMinimum Qualifications (required)\r\nKnowledge of operations, production, manufacturing, agriculture or general labor enviroments.\r\nMust meet minimum age requirement\r\nAdditional Qualifications\r\nAbility to operate machinery such as loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobile\r\nAbility to work extended hours during peak seasons to meet business demands\r\nHigh School diploma or GED preferred\r\nAgriculture experience preferred\r\nForklift certification preferred\r\nPre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position. If required, selected candidates must pass pre-employment screenings to include all or a combination of drug, criminal, motor vehicle check, physical requirements, and FMCSA Clearinghouse.\r\nPhysical Requirements\r\nAbility to work independently for extended periods of time, as well as in confined spaces and in hazardous environments.\r\nAbility to spend long periods of time on your feet including walking, standing and climbing steps and ladders, and working at heights up to 120 ft.\r\nAbility to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs.\r\nAbility to wear all required protective equipment may include respirators, hard hats, and eye and hearing protection.\r\nAbility to use both automated and manual tools and equipment.\r\nAbility to shovel, sweep, load, unload, lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs frequently\r\nAbility to work in noisy ,dusty, and all-weather conditions\r\nCHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions.
