recruiting for a Hospitalist to join our team Well established, 16 member team (16 Physicians & 4 Advanced Practitioners) and growing Excellent specialty support 12 Bed ICU with intensivist Tele hospitalist service overnight No night shifts Dedicated admitters and dedicated hospitalist nursing staff Blocked scheduling Excellent work/life balance with flexible scheduling Fully integrated system with clinic and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordinationResponsibilitiesAverage patients/day: 15-18 Admitting/Rounding on medical/surgical patients 18-years of age and older (adult), & non-maternity Shifts available: 5 on/5 off- 12-hour Day shift 7A-7P and occasional swing shift 12P-12A Days/Weekends/Holidays - shared equally amongst group Established Tele-hospitalist 7A-7P with local providers 2 med floors, 1 cardio,1 surgical, and consult in rehab/mental health Can cover ICU and perform procedures if desired, but this is NOT a requirement Improve the health of the people and communities we serveQualificationsMD or DO Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of IA Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer me
