This role ensures that all shipments meet company standards, comply with shipping regulations, and are sent out on time. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.Position: Shipping & Receiving Specialist Team: Production Pay: $18.50/hour - paid weekly! Location: Lenexa, KSThis is a non-exempt hourly position and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable federal and state wage and hour laws.What You'll DoPrepare and package products for shipment according to customer orders and company proceduresCreate and affix accurate shipping labels, packing slips, and documentationSchedule and coordinate shipments with carriers and couriersLoad packages onto trucks or other transport vehicles safelyMaintain accurate records of outgoing shipments in inventory systemsInspect outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, condition, and compliance with quality standardsCommunicate with warehouse staff, supervisors, and carriers regarding shipping issuesMonitor inventory levels and report discrepanciesOperate pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment as neededFollow all health and safety guidelines and company proceduresRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in shipping, warehouse, or logistics is preferredBasic computer skills and experience with shipping software (e.g., FedEx, UPS, or ERP systems)Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsGood communication and teamwork skillsWorking ConditionsWarehouse environmentMay require extended periods of standing, lifting, bending, and manual handlingInvolves working in a non-temperature-controlled environmentWhat You'll GetWeekly payPaid holidays + 80 hours of PTO in your first yearMedical, dental, vision, and life insurance401(k) with 3% Safe Harbor company contribution$100/month food credit (on-site kitchen)Employee discountsAeromotive reserves the right to modify, amend, or terminate benefits at any time, with or without notice.Important to KnowEmployment is contingent on successfully passing a background check.
