Registered Nurse

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. We are an Adult Residential Facility. This is a fun place to work at. Staff is friendly and we only have 5 residents max. We will help train you with all their characters so you can become familiar with all their traits. 8 hour shifts so you can enjoy more time to yourself. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care effectively. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist with procedures such as IV infusion, catheterization, and suturing as needed. Participate in discharge planning and follow-up care for patients transitioning out of acute settings. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in nursing. Requirements Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding and NCQA standards is advantageous. Strong skills in patient assessment, medication administration, and basic life support. Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, and individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus. Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques is essential. Ability to perform phlebotomy, venipuncture, specimen collection/processing, and vital sign monitoring competently. Previous experience with home care or hospice & palliative medicine is desirable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
