This position supports the upkeep, repair, and improvement of district facilities and outdoor spaces to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and the community.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with general building maintenance, repairs, and upkeepPerform grounds work, including mowing, trimming, watering, and weed controlSupport painting, cleaning, and minor construction projectsHelp move furniture, equipment, and classroom materialsAssist with summer preparation projects for the upcoming school yearMaintain tools and equipment in safe working conditionFollow all district safety procedures and guidelinesWork collaboratively with maintenance and custodial staffQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred (students eligible)Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditionsBasic knowledge of tools and equipment preferredStrong work ethic, reliability, and ability to follow directionsMust be able to lift 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasksAdditional RequirementsValid driver's license preferredAbility to pass a background check per district requirementsPhysical Requirements May IncludeClimbing Heavy lifting up to 100 lbs.
