Java Tech Lead

Role: Java Lead Contract: Long term Contract Location: Mclean, VA MOI: F2FLead a team of Java developers in the design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise applications.Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to understand requirements and define technical solutions.Drive best practices in coding, design, and architecture, ensuring adherence to software development standards.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.7+ years of hands-on Java development experience, including 2+ years in a technical leadership role.Proficient in Java 8/11/17+, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security), RESTful APIs, and Microservices architecture.Experience with build tools and frameworks like Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, and Git.Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
