They will also have strong knowledge of all Physical Security systems A3 works with and will be asked to serve as both an escalation point for installations and troubleshooting and a technical advisor to clients.\n\nEssential Functions\n\nConfiguration of physical security and supporting systems at a high level\nProgramming and commissioning line diagrams and as builts.\nTechnical oversight of project engineering and configuration tasks\nDocumentation and end user training\nServe as a subject matter expert\nServe as a technical advisor\nServe as an escalation point for troubleshooting\nDevelop and oversee project commissioning and testing\nParticipate as a trainer in A3U and other training programs\nPerform end-user training\nOther duties as assigned\nMinimum Qualifications\n\nHold and retain certification in at least three VMS systems\nHold and retain certification in at least two access control systems\nHold and retain enterprise/advanced-level certification in at least one access control or VMS’s\nHave a minimum two years of experience configuring physical security systems\nHave served as a Lead Technician – Physical Security (or equal) for a minimum of two years\nMust pass pre-employment background check and drug test\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\n\nHave basic knowledge of network fundamentals, SQL database and Windows Server\nHave proficiency in peripheral systems such as visitor management, video intercom, LPR, analytics, gate systems, etc.\nHave mastery of IP camera technology, controller hardware, door hardware and credential technologies\nHave the ability to communicate at a high level with customer IT staff\nHave the ability to work with customer to design system configurations\nfunction as an engineering resource for the project team on typical physical security projects\nParticipate in project commissioning and testing\nAssist in the enforcement of standards related to final documentation\nPossess basic system design and quoting abilities to assist sales when needed\nPhysical Demands\nSpends more than 2/3 of time standing, kneeling/crouching/stooping, using hands and reaching. Spends approximately 1/3 of time walking and talking/hearing. Frequent lifting required of items 25-50 pounds.\n\nWork Environment\nMay be exposed to variable weather conditions. Other conditions may include proximity to forklifts or other heavy machinery and using various tools and hardware. Worker may be subject to frequent heavy lifting.\n\nQualification Requirements\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
