Work location is Joint Base Anacostia, Arlington, VA, or Reston, VA.\nResponsibilities:\nDesigns, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions\nConducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software\nDetermines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems\nEnsures software standards are met\nExperience with cloud platforms, system integration, and database management is also important\nIndividual should be strategic, up-to-date with industry trends, and able to align engineering goals with business objectives\nCertifications in project management and specific technologies are beneficial\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 4-7 years of software development experience.\nStrong proficiency in multiple programming languages, software design methodologies, and development tools.\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.\nCapable of designing and implementing complex software components with minimal supervision.\nActive Top Secret clearance with CI Polygraph.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)\nExperience with system integration and database management\nRelevant technical or project management certifications\nAbility to stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies\nPay Transparency: In support of pay transparency at Vantor, we disclose salary ranges on all U.S. job postings.
