At the end of the day, our employees are our biggest asset, and we are proud of building both strong infrastructures and an even stronger culture.\n\nWhite Construction is looking for a Project Engineer to join their team.\n\nPosition Responsibilities\nThe Project Engineer will assist the Project Manager and Estimator with the day-to-day administrative functions associated with Project Management and Estimating to ensure that each estimate is prepared accurately and each project is completed on time and within the estimated budget.\nAttend the project turnover meeting (estimating to operations).\nAssist in generating/maintaining project schedules, both cash flow and workload.\nAttend job meetings.\nAssist in setting up/managing submittals, purchase orders, change orders and subcontractor agreements.\nEnsure the work, including the work of the subcontractors, is being done in compliance with OSHA standards and company policies.\nEnforce the company safety program.\nEnsure all work is completed according to specifications for the project.\nAssist in completing all project plans.\nAssist in maintaining all project related reports.\nAssist in preparing project closing documents.\nReview construction documents and complete take offs and assist in obtaining pricing for materials and subcontractors including DBE subcontractors.\nAssist in preparing CPM schedules using estimated productions.\nAttend pre bid meetings.\nMake pre bid site investigations.\nAssist in preparing QA/QC plans.\nTest concrete in accordance with QA/QC plans.\nMaintain and submit QA/QC records in accordance with the QA/QC plans.\nAll other job duties as assigned.\n\nEducation\nAssociate degree required.\n\nPosition Requirements\nBachelor’s degree preferred.\nA minimum of 2 years’ experience in the construction industry.\nMust be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future.\n\nTraining\nOn the job, compliance, and safety.\n\nMasTec, Inc. is an equal employment opportunity employer.
