Together, we are EXP.\n\nAre you ready to design your future?\n\nYour work environment at EXP\nIn this role, you will be a part of the Mining Team, based out of any of our US offices!\n\nWhat a day at EXP has in store for you\n\nPreparing proposals for projects for geotechnical services for engineering projects that include cost estimates and timelines;\n\nPLC, Power, Automation and instrumentation mining experience required.\n\nResponsible for meeting firm's engineering quality levels of discipline on assigned projects.\n\nOversees development of design concepts by Designers, and ensure proper application and execution.\n\nVerifies Designer’s work quality regarding specifications, reports, code application, submittal review, equipment selection, deliverables, and drawings.\n\nResponsible for applying the EXP’s risk management practices of electrical engineering.\n\nHave a solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and advanced concepts to execute all required aspects of discipline engineering.\n\nEncourages collaboration to seek the best solutions.\n\nManages work plans and deliverables on multiple projects within budgeted hours.\n\nExecutes complex electrical designs with conflicting design requirements or difficult coordination.\n\nPerform front‑end loading of Electrical systems for projects.\n\nContributes to revisions of EXP’s design standards and master specifications.\n\nEvaluates Value Engineering (cost cutting) items with respect to our level of risk.\n\nEdits and develops the basis of design narratives documenting the project scope.\n\nDevelops electrical one‑lines, load lists, area classifications, etc.\n\nParticipates in HAZOP, PHA, safety reviews.\n\nWhat your experience looks like\n\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an Accredited University.\n\nRegistered PE required.\n\n10 plus years of experience in the mining or industrial industry.\n\nBusiness development experience required.\n\nCompensation and Benefits\nThe salary range for this role is $110,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's skill set, experience, certifications, and geographic location.
