Social Content Manager
Rivers Agency is looking for a Social Content Manager who understands both strategy and execution. This role is ideal for someone who can plan smart content, create engaging posts, stay organized across multiple clients, and keep projects moving.You’ll work across a mix of B2B and B2C brands, helping develop and manage social content that supports larger campaign and brand goals. You’ll partner closely with our Social Media & Influencer Relations Manager and collaborate with our design team to bring ideas to life with quality and consistency.ResponsibilitiesHelp develop social media strategies for a variety of clients, with a focus on brand consistency and platform best practicesPlan and create content for Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedInWrite clear, engaging, on-brand captions and posting copyManage content calendars, publishing schedules, and deadlines across multiple accountsPull and review performance data from Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, and other tools to identify insights and opportunitiesBuild reports and presentation decks that clearly communicate results and recommendationsSupport influencer research, outreach, and relationship managementEdit short-form video content using CapCut or similar toolsManage tasks, timelines, and approvals in AsanaStay current on platform updates, trends, and emerging content opportunitiesRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience managing social media for brands, either in-house or at an agencyProven success creating content that increases engagement, reach, and audience growthStrong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn, including what works best on each platformExperience using Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or similar scheduling and reporting toolsStrong writing skills with the ability to match different brand voices and audiencesExperience planning, creating, editing, and posting short-form content using tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Canva, or similarStrong creative instincts and a good eye for content that stands out, including hooks, visuals, pacing, captions, and trendsComfortable reviewing performance data and using insights to improve future contentHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple brands, content calendars, approvals, and deadlines at onceComfortable presenting ideas, recommendations, and results to clients and internal teamsSelf-starter who is proactive, collaborative, dependable, and always looking for ways to improveHow to ApplyIf this sounds like a fit, we’d love to hear from you.Please send your resume along with a portfolio or examples of social media work that show your ability to think strategically, create engaging content, and grow brand presence across platforms.Include links to accounts you’ve managed, campaigns you’ve contributed to, or content you’ve created whenever possible.Please send materials to lauren@riversagency.com with the subject line: Social Content Manager ApplicationWe’re excited to meet talented people who love building smart, creative social content.
