This role will focus on maintaining stable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure while supporting ongoing projects, upgrades, and operational needs.Key Responsibilities:Design, deploy, and administer VMware environments including vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and related components\r\nPerform day-to-day operational support, monitoring, and troubleshooting of virtual infrastructure\r\nExecute upgrades, patches, and migrations for VMware platforms and associated tools\r\nSupport capacity planning, performance tuning, and availability improvements\r\nConfigure and maintain HA, DRS, vMotion, and fault tolerance features\r\nCollaborate with storage, network, security, and server teams to ensure integrated solutions\r\nSupport backup and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., VMware SRM, Veeam, Commvault, or similar)\r\nAssist with incident response, root cause analysis, and documentation\r\nProvide technical input for infrastructure projects and architecture decisions\r\nCreate and maintain operational documentation and runbooks\r\nSkillsVMware certifications (e.g., VCP, VCAP)\r\n5+ years of hands-on experience administering VMware virtualization environments\r\nExperience with cloud or hybrid environments (Azure VMware Solution, AWS, etc.)\r\nScripting or automation experience (PowerShell, PowerCLI, Python)\r\nExperience with monitoring tools and infrastructure-as-code concepts\r\nPrior experience in large enterprise or regulated environments\r\nStrong experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter\r\nSolid understanding of Windows and Linux server environments\r\nWorking knowledge of enterprise storage (SAN/NAS) and networking concepts (VLANs, NIC teaming, DNS, TCP/IP)\r\nExperience supporting production environments with high availability requirements\r\nAbility to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues under time constraints\r\nPreferred Industry Experience:Convenience Retail, Fuel Operations, Supply ChainThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
