As a Termite Technician you are the first line of defense in preserving and safeguarding customers' properties. The inspections, prevention, and treatment services that you provide will create peace of mind and comfort for our customers.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to the following:\nIdentify customer’s termite problems and have knowledge of termite behaviors and habits to determine remedial steps\nPerform termite treatment services safely and according to company guidelines and standard practices\nApplying anti-termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures and label instructions.\nCommunicate to the customer critical conditions that are conducive to termite activity discuss procedures and structural modifications, which may be supplemental to treatment process\nVerifying that job specifications are appropriate for each work order\nOperate and maintain service vehicles and equipment\nCompleting production forms documenting services provided\nInteracting with customers and explaining services provided\nEssential Job Functions:\nTolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations\nPrepare the job site for treatment\nEnter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb over and on top of structures; ascend and descend stairs and ladders\nYou need to be comfortable working 20 feet up on a ladder along with working in small confined spaces.\nGeneral laborer, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter and attic experience is plus\nAbility to work on a roofs and high areas\nLots of moving around — regularly sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles\nYou’ll need to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), like an OSHA-compliant respirator, and you’ll need to be okay with regularly working in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways (anywhere the critters live)\nWhat do you need?\nClean shaven face- for safety reasons (rebreathers have to be able to seal your face)\nHigh school diploma or GED\nMust possess a valid driver's license from state of residence (Company vehicle and gas card provided)\nAt least 1 years of customer service, experience in termite control is a plus\nStrong attention to detail and willingness to learn\nBe flexible with working hours, Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed\nLicenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us)\nBasic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
