The Senior Project Manager acts as an extension of an owner’s design, construction and maintenance staff overseeing the work of general contractors, designers and vendors on behalf of the client teams. The Senior Project Manager directly manages and monitors project work both in the field and in the office.\nTravel: This is a remote based position with recurring travel on-site to project locations across, but not limited to, the Carolinas and Virginia markets. Travel required (40-60%) on an as needed basis up to and including weekly site visits. Multi-shift work may be required to accomplish work in active retail locations to meet aggressive schedules.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nSupport the Project Executive or Operations Director in developing project proposals, budgets, schedules, and resource plans.\nLead and coordinate project teams to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to client standards.\nServe as the primary client contact, proactively communicating project updates and resolving issues.\nSource, negotiate, and manage contractors, subcontractors, and third-party providers.\nOversee estimating, bidding, permitting, and contract administration.\nManage project changes, documentation, and reporting in alignment with Sevan’s standards and best practices.\nImplement Sevan technology solutions to enhance project delivery.\nConduct project kickoffs and lessons-learned reviews to drive continuous improvement.\nRepresent Sevan in client and project meetings, fostering strong relationships with clients, partners, and vendors.\nAnticipate challenges and develop solutions to minimize risk and ensure project success.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field, or 10–15 years of relevant experience.\nProven expertise in construction project management, with strong knowledge of all phases from preconstruction through closeout.\nExperience managing retail or restaurant construction programs including remodels, refreshes, and multi-site rollouts required.\nGround-up construction experience is a strong plus.\nExceptional communication skills with clients, contractors, and project teams at all levels.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.\nPMP certification preferred.\nWhy Join Sevan?\nAt Sevan, we believe in creating a supportive and dynamic environment where your contributions truly matter.
