Fits, tests, and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.\r\nResponsibilities & Duties\r\nPrepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathers parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.\r\nPositions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements; assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastens parts and subassemblies; verifies specifications by measuring completed component; resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifies supervisor to obtain additional resources.\r\nKeeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.\r\nMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; documents actions by completing production and quality forms.\r\nMaintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.\r\nKnowledge, Skills & Experience\r\n0-2 years of relevant experience.\r\nHigh School diploma or equivalent.\r\nApprenticeship in area of specialty a plus.\r\nExperienced use of hand tools, jigs, fixtures, and miscellaneous power tools and equipment.\r\nAdditional Job Details\r\nSupport & Production - S1\r\nOrganizational Impact\r\nWorks to deliver on day-to-day objectives with minor impact on achievement results for the team\r\nDelivers job responsibilities following a defined standard output or set of procedures\r\nWork consists of tasks that are routine, or well defined, with specific instructions to achieve standardized solutions\r\nWork is closely supervised\r\nCommunication & Influence\r\nCommunicates with contacts typically within immediate job area on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring little explanation or interpretation\r\nInnovation & Complexity\r\nResponsible for checking data and information or troubleshooting when minor changes may be required based on review\r\nDaily challenges faced are routine and solutions clearly prescribed\r\nFollows a well-established and familiar set of activities and/or processes to derive a solution\r\nLeadership & Talent Management\r\nN/A - Jobs at this level are focused on self-development\r\nKnowledge & Experience\r\nRequires limited job knowledge of systems and procedures.
