This is a 12-month contract with a potential for extension.\n\nPay: $65.00 - $75.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.\n\nDescription\nPrimary Responsibilities:\n\nTest the functionality and performance of the systems software\n\nDevelop and execute manual test plans and scripts designed to detect problems\n\nEnsure systems software meets technical and functional requirements\n\nPerform workflow analysis, document test results, and recommend quality improvements\n\nWork with engineers to resolve software defects and diagnose/improve product configuration for current and future models\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nExpert knowledge of Medical Product verification, IEC-62304, and FDA guidance in a technical discipline, preferably software related (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering)\n\nExperience debugging hardware with tools such as oscilloscope and function generators\n\nExperience writing, executing, and maintaining test automation scripts in Python or a comparable language. Experience should include automating functional, regression, and system-level test cases; working with test frameworks and reusable test libraries; analyzing logs and test results; debugging failures; and integrating automated tests into the broader verification workflow.\n\nExperience writing technical reports\n\nExperience using a tool or repository for managing test cases (Polarion, TFS, TestRail, JAMA, etc.)\n\nStrong work ethic and entrepreneurial drive\n\nAbility to work with Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, and Software engineers when discovering, documenting, and resolving integration issues\n\nAbility to work with QA to ensure testing meets Quality and Regulatory needs\n\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment\n\nStrong communication skills, both written and verbal\n\nMust Have:\n\n5+ years of application testing and/or development experience with Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Software, Biomedical, or Electrical Engineering preferred)\n\nTop 3 skill sets required:\n\nSystem-Level Test Design, Troubleshooting, and V&V (hardware, software, sensors, controls, networking, safety systems)\n\nQuality & Regulatory Compliance (IEC 62304)\n\nPython Test Scripting\n\n3 Main Responsibilities/day-to-day activities required for this role:\n\nPlan and Execute Verification & Validation Testing (Manual & Automated)\n\nIdentification, Investigation, and Documenting Defects\n\nTest Report Creation and Regulatory Compliance for V&V for Capital Equipment\n\nProducts (if any) will this role support:\n\nAffera Mapping & Ablation System\n\nPrimary Talent Partners is an Equal Opportunity / Aff\n\nAn affirmative action employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
