This position will interact with clients and Insurance carriers.\n\nDay-to-Day\n\nMaintains and grows multiple lines, including but not limited to E&O, D&O, and Cyber policies.\nAnalyzes information sent to the carrier for underwriting.\nReviews and monitors monthly submissions to admitted and non-admitted markets.\nDevelops and fosters relationships with our clients and sub-producers.\nCollaborates with various carriers to gain an understanding of each policy and the coverage provided.\nNegotiates renewal terms and prepares proposal documents for each client renewal.\nAbility to use internal systems and multi-task in a timely manner.\nDemonstrates solid underwriting acumen.\nManages workload within established service levels.\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequirements:\nTwo to four years of related experience or equivalent.\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\nProperty and Casualty underwriting experience or ability to obtain license in 90 days.\nKnowledge of insurance products and underwriting guidelines.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nExcellent written and oral communication skills\nAbility to manage priorities and workflow.\nGeneral PC knowledge including Microsoft Word, Excel, and in-house system.\nStrong interpersonal skills.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\n\nProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer\nContinually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.\nContinually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard.\n\nAMBA is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing a workplace free from harassment and discrimination.
