Customer Service Representative
Starting pay: $20 per hour + incentives
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) actively engages customers both via phone and in person to recommend, offer and sell services based on the customer’s needs. The objective of the CSR is to work with other staff to increase revenue, profitability and customer satisfaction through an effective selling and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
Provides professional move consultations over the phone or in person by asking open-ended, probing questions to determine customer requirements and expectations
Input information into “Movers Who Care®” software to estimate cost for customers, as well as scheduling requirements for movers, drivers, and trucks
Makes recommendations based on customer's needs on services and supplies available
Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements when scheduling moving services and staff
Daily prepare all move-related paperwork and documents for the next day’s moves
Professionally handle unexpected issues and provide timely feedback to customers and management
Prepares performance reports for management to track sales goals (closing rates, margins, revenue, etc.), customer satisfaction and mystery shop data
May participate in various marketing activities including networking, direct mail, and charitable move coordination
Perform on-site inspections to obtain accurate inventory and moving
Ensures office is maintained in a clean, organized, and professional manner
All other duties as assigned
Education / Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required; associate's degree in related field preferred
A minimum of one year of customer service and/or sales experience is required; knowledge of training/coaching preferred

Proficient computer, keyboarding, math, spatial, organizational and time management skills
Ability to drive Company Vehicles while holding a Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record

This position is considered safety sensitive and must be able to adhere to the policies in place throughout employment
This position will require travel using a company support vehicle to other franchises as needed. Work may also be performed in a Commercial Motor Vehicle to and from the office and customer’s location. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
