Job DescriptionWorcester MA points EASTNorth of MarlboroughSouthern, NHOverviewLevelExperiencedPosition TypeFull TimeJob ShiftDayEducation LevelHigh SchoolTravel PercentageNoneCategoryConstructionHVAC TechnicianPosition SummaryThe HVAC Technician will participate in the installation or maintenance and inspection of HVAC systems and associated processes.Position ResponsibilitiesShall maintain compliance with all state licenses and registrations required;Regular attendance at assigned location; may include A/Z office or other project site;Execute HVAC preventive maintenance procedures, daily checks, inspections;Extensive troubleshooting of all site-wide HVAC and associated Process Equipment, Plant Utility and Facility Refrigeration’s Systems, Air Handlers, Supply Air Systems, Exhaust Systems, Cooling and Heating Coils;Analyzing problems and identify corrective measures;Frequently checking blueprints;Obtaining supplies and spare parts, understanding repair manuals and parts catalogs;Review specifications, conduct site inspections, review system design and drawings;Must maintain strict adherence to safety rules and quality;Participate in site housekeeping;Interact with co-workers in an attentive courteous manner;Additional duties as directed by management.QualificationsSKILLS & EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) Systems – MUST – NO EXCEPTIONSAbility to work independently or as part of a team;Experience: 5 years of Field Experience, trade school or apprenticeship;Ability to communicate with multiple disciplines - both technical and non-technical;Knowledge of cooling tower water chemistry and control systems;Advanced knowledge of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems;Familiar with the Microsoft office suite in order to prepare reports, format spread sheets and communicate by email;Competency in Permit Requiring Confined Space;Be highly focused on customer satisfaction expectations;Good documentation and record keeping;Understanding of and strict adherence to daily Job Hazard Analysis (JHA);Appropriate state certification or license;OSHA 10 certification5 years of field experience, trade school or apprenticeshipA/Z Corporation is an AA/EOE Employer
