Your expertise will play a critical role in enhancing our system's capabilities, improving user experience, and supporting team goals and metrics. ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and deploy software applications for wireline telemetry and logging systemsDevise solutions to integrate new behavior and features into existing legacy systemsDevelop high-quality, efficient, and well-documented code that meets industry standards and best practicesParticipate in weekly software team meetings and ensure that solutions are aligned with the company's technical visionTroubleshoot and resolve software issues, identifying and implementing fixes and improvementsStay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologiesCollaborate with the team to ensure software meets quality and reliability standardsDevelop and maintain technical documentation and user guides QualificationsExperience in software developmentProficiency in programming languages such as C/C++Proficiency using operating system APIs such as Win32 or LinuxKnowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design patternsExcellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issuesEffective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teamsExperience with 2D graphics programming, such as SDL or GDI RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in related fieldorSoftware Development • 2 - 4 yearsC/C++ • 1 - 6 years or equivalentNice to HaveFamiliar with C#About UsScientific Data systems is the leading provider of innovative wireline telemetry and logging systems, serving the oil and gas industry.
