AI integration is a real part of this work, not a checkbox.What you'll doLead full-stack development across React, Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScriptDesign and integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and AI-assisted features including LLM-powered workflows and RAGWork directly with clients to translate requirements into technical solutionsMake architectural decisions and hold accountability for themMentor junior engineers on modern JavaScript and AI-augmented development practicesEvaluate and adopt AI-assisted tools (Copilot, Claude, automated testing) where they actually improve the workContribute to CI/CD pipelines, cloud architecture, and DevOps practicesWhat you bringRequired:7+ years of software engineering experience, bachelor's degree or equivalent5+ years of professional JavaScript/TypeScript development, front-end and back-endStrong React or Next.js experience building responsive, production-grade interfacesNode.js proficiency with frameworks like Express or FastifyExperience designing and consuming REST APIs and/or GraphQLSolid understanding of relational or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar)Git and modern CI/CD workflowsPreferred:Prior government contracting experienceCloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure AI) into production appsFamiliarity with RAG, prompt engineering, or agentic workflowsDocker, Terraform, GitHub ActionsSection 508 / WCAG accessibility standardsAgile methodologiesCompensation Range is wide due to leveling (1 and 2).
