Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Hinesville, GA (On-Site)Location: Hinesville, GA (on-site)Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:15 AM-3:15 PMHours: 40 hours/weekPay: $36.71/hour (W2)What You'll DoUnder the direction of a Physical Therapist, you'll help carry out patient treatment plans, including:Provide corrective exercises and therapeutic treatments for assigned patientsAssist with treatments such as:Therapeutic exercise, gait training, massageWhirlpool, hot packs, ice packsDiathermy, ultrasound, paraffinTraction (intermittent/static)Teach patients how to properly use:Wheelchairs, crutches, canes, walkersBraces, prosthetics, and other supportive devicesMotivate and assist patients to improve functional activitiesMonitor patient response, document progress, and report findings to the Physical TherapistFit/adjust/train patients on orthopedic braces, prostheses, and mobility aidsCollaborate with the PT team and other healthcare team members to coordinate care plans What We're Looking For: Associate's degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program1+ year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant post-graduationCurrent, full, active, unrestricted PTA licenseor current PTA/technician certification (as determined by APTA)BLS certification (American Heart Association)Authorization to work in the United States (per Immigration Reform Act of 1986)Benefits (Eligible Positions)Health, Dental, VisionSpecified holidays & paid leaveLife & disability insuranceTuition reimbursement401(k) with company match
